About MythMoney
MythMoney is an income-building blog specifically for informing users about the different forms of income strategies out there. I post reviews and strategies for building passive income (which isn’t necessarily passive, but you’ll find more on that in my blog articles) as well as quick pieces about upcoming market trends, stocks, crypto, or anything related to investing and building income. The main goal is to share knowledge from an average untrained person going through the journey of self-financial investment.
I’ve been stuck at home due to the pandemic and have been trying various things to increase my investments. They haven’t been working out and I started wishing there was a site that just laid out the various ways. I don’t want to read or watch another thing titled “Top 30 Side Hustles to increase passive income”. So this is how MythMoney was born, what I wish I had I’m going to make available to others possibly going through the same steps.
Do you Take Suggestions?
YES!
To an extent, I don’t have tons of money to throw at these. I’m stuck to the limits of my own cash flow and what I’m willing to lose. I’m also not signing up for any subscriptions or MLM-type scenarios, even though I might write about them.

Below are all the ways I get funding, but this site will always be free regardless if no one chooses to do these (best choice, save your money).
- Ad Revenue
- My site has ads, but I’ve designed it so they aren’t intrusive. Feel free to use AdBlock to remove them entirely. If you are willing to pitch in half a cent, exclude this site from AdBlock.
- ETH and BTC donations
- I have the addresses in the footer of the site. Please don’t waste your money though, this could be invested somewhere else!
- Money Made From Reviewing These Sites
- To clarify, I will not be paid by sites for making reviews. I’m being overly hopeful here, but my aim would be to be at least partially successful in trying some of the revenue-generating methods.
- Word of Mouth
- This is probably the best way to help and the only one I will really ask for. I would love to have articles shared, and get the word out for everyone trying to build passive income. So if the reviews are informative, or even better, if they’ve helped you avoid a scam, add a like to the article or comment and share through your platform of choice!
About Me (The Owner)
For right now, it is just me, Christoph. I’m a Technical Integrations Analyst who specializes in Security Infrastructure and Coaching. I graduated High School, decided college was too expensive 1 , and then pursued cheap certifications instead. I must admit, I have not actually completed a certification except for one in personal training which isn’t even applicable for my main job in IT/Security.
This makes me just about as unqualified as I can be with running this blog aside from building it. This is great for you as a reader though, it means I’m just as liable to fall for any scam as the next guy. So if I can succeed with any of the items I am posting about or reviewing, then it should be possible for anyone with a little drive too.
But Christoph, what if none of them succeed?
I wouldn’t be surprised, I’m actually expecting them all to fail. My goal here is to provide transparency on these and if none of them work, then it would prove the adage of “if it sounds too good to be true…”. I have seen so many different “Get-Rich-Quick schemes” that people fall for it’s crazy. To quickly list a few of the common ones:
- Buy my book/course/webcast on how I make XXXXX money a month.
- Sign up for this and then refer 2 friends to receive XX amount.
- Sign up for my site to resell t-shirts YOU design and you COULD make XX amount a month.
- Flipping Real-Estate in a DIY style.
- Offer Vacation Packages for cheap and get your friends to too. (World Ventures MLM, almost fell for it)
- Selling personal information (or kidneys? 2 ) for money.
Always know, I don’t have anything to sell you (unless you happen to buy something like a t-shirt I produced while creating a review, but please don’t). I also cannot guarantee or promise in the slight bit that following what I do or review will make you money if it happens to work for me.
